After working with basic socket programming, this project aimed to pull together some of the techniques I had picked up in 3D programming whilst drawing in some of the procedural generation techniques of other projects into a 3D scene.
The approach was a simple client server model, allowing clients to connect to a server program running various threads and game logic to return data to the client.
From testing, it was actually great fun to play around with friends across the internet. The graphics were terrible, and the networking a bit glitchy at times. However it was just a really fun game, messing around running around firing stuff at each other.
